Hi, Anne!

Every Sentient Being is on her/his own unique journey to Source, so what each one experiences will be particular to them. What holds true for all is that the basic Sustaining Power inside each one of us loves us dearly and carries both the energy and information that we need in order to unfold ourselves in the best possible way, not only for ourselves, but for the rest of the Universe.

When I 'plug in', I find all sorts of interesting energies/Beings/thought-forms there. I have a Healing Space, I have Guides, I have gone on journeys in Spirit to other physical places, and I have received lessons that have helped me to better understand my own Beingness and how to develop it. There is no 'official version' of what is right/wrong, up/down, etc., in the Inner Realms, because the Priestess/Shaman is co-creating with Source to actively shape the Inner Realms by journeying through them. For this reason, it is best to start with small and basic things like setting up an Inner Healing Space, or attempting to talk with the Spirits of plants and animals. Doing these things will help to build personal trust in one's Inner Experiences, which most people are brainwashed into thinking are nothing more than 'just their imagination'.

One thing that I have been taught by my own Inner Experience is that 'deities' are actually rather complex, and are not at all what most human beings think they are. The difference between a 'standard' explication of Kurukulla (that she is a sort of minor Love/Desire Goddess who can be called upon in a rather 'cookie-cutter' way to subdue a meditator's enemies) and my experience of Her boils down to one difference: when I met Her in the Inner Realms, I took the time to ask Her about Herself instead of ordering Her to 'do something for me'. In return, She told me what She was really capable of, which was both so amazing and so funny that I figured I would write about it-- She has been 'up to' things that don't even register with a lot of male meditators because they are so busy giving orders and trying to control their physical-reality rivals that they aren't paying attention to the actual nature of the Energy-Being they have called upon. They also aren't paying attention to *all* the consequences of the interface they have conjured up as well as to *all* the consequences of having asked the Energy-Being to do X, Y, or Z for them.

While it is not my place to tell you how to proceed, I will just say this: start small, and TRUST. Contrary to male assumptions of danger, the Inner Realms are actually way nicer and more civilized than physical reality. The only times folks tend to hit 'turbulence' is when they run across energy 'shadows' which arise from screw-ups and idiocy in the physical world, and as long as you have developed a friendly, caring attitude towards your Helpers, they will help smooth your Path and support you.

Anyway, Happy Journeying, and I am sure that if you meet Kurukulla in your travels, She'll have interesting things to show you!

That was amazing to read. Is the way to connect with such a deity through meditation? I don't know much about that sort thing, but I sure do find your blog interesting.
